While Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi have between themselves shared football’s most iconic individual prize for the past 10 years, it appears 2018 might just be the year for another footballer as Luka Modric is the bookmakers’ favourite to claim France Football’s prize, Ballon d’Or 2018.

The 63rd edition Ballon d’Or will be held in Paris, the French capital on Monday, December 3.
